Hi! We are the students of The Call of Nature.
Our project started during a summer program where we explored nature, studied local species, made art, wrote poems, asked questions, visited natural places, and learned how important it is to protect the living things around us.
We did not want the project to end when summer was over, so we created The Call of Nature to keep learning and to invite more people to join us.
Our motto is:
Learn. Create. Share. Protect.
There are many ways you can be part of our journey.
Become a Student Member
Are you curious about animals, plants, birds, fish, insects, or anything else in nature?
Pick a species that interests you and start exploring! You can research it, observe it, draw it, paint it, photograph it, write about it, make a video, create a poem, or find your own way to tell its story.
You do not have to know everything. We are learning too.
All you need is curiosity, creativity, and a species you care about.

Become Our Mentor
Sometimes we have questions that books and websites cannot answer.
That is why we would love to learn from scientists, artists, teachers, researchers, photographers, naturalists, conservationists, writers, and other professionals.
You can talk with us, answer our questions, teach us something new, look at our work, recommend resources, or even lead a workshop.
Your knowledge could help a student discover something they will remember for the rest of their life.

Join Our Advisory Board
We have big ideas, but we are still young, and sometimes we need experienced people to help us make those ideas possible.
We are looking for people who care about children, education, nature, art, science, conservation, and community.
Our Advisory Board can help us find opportunities, connect with organizations and experts, plan projects and exhibitions, develop partnerships, and guide The Call of Nature as it grows.

We started with a few students and a few species. Now we hope more children, families, teachers, professionals, artists, scientists, and community members will join us.
