Piping Plovers

Hi, my name is Betül. I am a young wildlife ambassador, and I studied the Piping Plover. I learned about where these tiny shorebirds live, what they eat, and the challenges they face on our beaches. Piping Plovers are important because they are part of a healthy coastal ecosystem and need safe places to nest and raise their chicks. We can help protect them by keeping beaches clean, respecting nesting areas, and observing them from a distance.
